🧤 How to Measure for a Golf Glove
To get the best fit, you’ll want to measure both length and width of your child's glove hand (the hand they wear the glove on — usually the non-dominant hand).
📏 What You’ll Need:
-
A soft measuring tape or string and ruler
-
A flat surface
-
Pen & paper to note the measurements
✅ Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Measure the Hand Length
-
Have your child stretch their hand out flat with fingers extended (but not spread wide).
-
Measure from the tip of the middle finger down to the base of the palm (where the wrist starts).
-
Write this number down in inches.
2. Measure the Hand Width
-
With the hand still flat, measure across the widest part of the palm — from the outer edge of the index finger knuckle to the outer edge of the pinky knuckle.
-
This gives you the hand width in inches.
3. Match to Size Chart
-
Use both measurements to find the best-fitting glove size on the chart (e.g. XS, S, M, L).
🔍 Pro Tip:
-
If your child is in between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort and room to grow.
-
A good glove should fit snugly but not tight — like a second skin.
